Abercromby Street

The new build flats were part of a regeneration scheme for the East End of Glasgow by Thenue Housing Association. This project was of particular importance to our Hard Metals manager as he grew up in the area, so was delighted to be part of the project after seeing the grounds where the flats were built lie as waste land for around 40 years. The size and complexity of the building was challenging. The use of specialised metal cladding was selected for both protection and strength for the building as it is remarkably strong and highly resilient to water damage and corrosion, a great investment by a housing association.
